OMG Brownies

How we started

Years ago, I worked in midtown Manhattan, and there was a market near my office that sold fabulous house-made brownies. They declined to share the recipe, which I totally understood...but then they closed, leaving me jonesing for a fudge brownie fix with no supply in sight. So I set to creating and testing recipes, and finally created my own perfect fudge brownie.

In 2007, my daughter took a job with a local barbecue joint. I ordered dinner, and when one of her friends delivered it, I sent a batch of cherry brownies back with him for the staff to share. Some of the brownies were picked up by diners at the restaurant, and over the next few weeks, those diners came back in and asked if there were any more of the brownies available, and OMG Brownies Inc. was born.

OMG Brownies are fudge brownies, dense and spiked with chunks of chocolate cut by hand. They are always made from fresh ingredients, but never with additives or preservatives.
